Forest of Dean    The IBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF in Old Staple-edge Wood remaining faithful to a 50 yard stretch at the edge of the wood above a wire fence at SO 64929 10114 singing throughout the day until 8pm at least and showing well occasionally, often high in the Beech canopy. At Parkend a juvenile Dipper on the stream behind the Fountain Inn. At Nagshead a Spotted Flycatcher and a Pied Flycatcher. (Derek Hale).

WWT Slimbridge     The male WHITE-SPOTTED BLUETHROAT heard calling several times from 1:10 to 1:15 and heard singing at 1:40pm and possibly a very brief flight view. Also on South Lake a 3CY Mediterranean Gull, a drake Pochard , a pair of of Gadwalls, an Oystercatcher and  a few Avocets with chicks, the Common Crane pair with a chick. A Cetti’s Warbler heard near Peng and another by the Duck Decoy. (Stephen Curtis & Carol Rushton). Later two Mediterranean Gull on South Lake and 46 Black-tailed Godwits, a pair of Common Cranes with a chick from Van de Bovenkamp hide and a pair of Little Ringed Plovers on the Rushy. (MK).

Cotswold Water Park West     At Pits 41/57 a Cuckoo heard, ten Hobbies and an OSPREY over. (David Creber).

Frampton pools     On Court lake 17 Hobbies, 20+ Swifts, a Cuckoo and the Ross’s Goose. On the Sailing Lake seven Common Terns, a Yellow Wagtail and an Oystercatcher. (Nick Goatman/John Fletcher/Allan Jeffcutt/Paul Sutton).

Purton     A Cuckoo seen and heard around the Timber Ponds. Also a pair of Mute Swans with nine cygnets, a pair of Bullfinches, many Swallows and Chiffchaffs. (Mike Davis).
