Forest of Dean     The IBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF still in Old Staple-edge Wood around SO 64929 10114 singing  and showing, often high in the Beech canopy until 9:30am at least. (Sam Walker). WWT Slimbridge     A drake GARGANEY on the Rushy this morning. (Tim Jukes/Dot Jones). Three Mediterranean Gulls on South Lake this afternoon. (Jonathan Bull).

Frampton     Early morning at Court Lake four Shelducks, the Ross’s Goose, two Common Terns, an Oystercatcher and a Nuthatch. (MK). At 2pm four Hobbies and a Great Crested Grebe swallowing a Perch. (Richard Cawsey). Later birds included 14+Hobbies, a Red Kite, a Sparrowhawk, four Buzzards and two Oystercatchers. On the Sailing Lake an adult Yellow-legged Gull, four Herring Gulls, two Lesser Black-backed Gulls, six Common Terns, a Sedge Warbler and two Swifts. (Nick Goatman).

Coombe Hill Meadows      At The Wharf two Coots and two young, a Song Thrush, a Lesser Whitethroat, a Swallow and a Grey Heron. Along the canal a Sparrowhawk, a Chaffinch, a Garden Warbler, a Chiffchaff and a Lesser Whitethroat. From the new hide this evening 15 Mute Swans, eight Lapwings, three Shovelers, three Curlews, three Grey Herons, two Canada Geese, two Little Egrets and a Common Crane. Between the new hide and the canal six Yellow Wagtails. (Howard Taylor). From Grundon hide three Curlews, three Ringed Plovers, two Redshanks, two Greenshanks, two Avocets, two Oystercatchers, four Shelducks, four Shovelers, 31 Mallards and ten ducklings, 24 Canada Geese, five Little Egrets, four Grey Herons and seven Sand Martins. Ryeford     A Chiffchaff, a Jay, a Dipper, a female Blackcap and two Buzzards today. (Paul Sutton).

Cheltenham     A pair of Collared Doves nesting under the arches in Winchcombe Street. (Howard Taylor).
