WWT Slimbridge     A Greenshank, two Common Terns and the Common Crane pair with two chicks on the Top New Piece from Zeiss hide. (Helen Bojaniwska).

Coombe Hill Meadows    A pair of Ringed Plovers, a drake GARGANEY, a male Ruff and two Lapwing broods. (Ian Ralphs). This morning a male LESSER SPOTTED WOODPECKER briefly along the canal then flew off E. Also today numerous Sedge Warblers, Reed Buntings, Whitethroats and Chiffchaffs, a Little Egret, three Avocets, two Oystercatchers, a pair of Little Ringed Plovers, Yellow Wagtails, two Curlews, Redshanks and at least 1 Sand Martin. Gloucester     A Red Kite over Abbeymead at 2:20pm. (Ken Hurcombe).

Quedgeley     A Red Kite over very low then circled up drifting SSE at 4pm. (Paul Masters).

Newport     5/6 Red Kites circling over the A38 between Newport and Stone at 11:30am. (Hinton Birder).

Frampton     At the pools a Common Tern, a Kingfisher, a Hobby and a mass emergence of Common Blue and Red-eyed Damselflies. (Tim McGrath).

Cotswolds     This morning 10+ Swifts over Northleach town centre. At Hampnett 20+ House Martins collecting mud from a small road side pool. A singing Corn Bunting in a tree just off the A436 on the road towards Brockhampton. (John Casswell).

Gotherington     At Granna Lane two Buzzards circling over and a Raven heard. (Howard Taylor).
