WWT Slimbridge     On the Top New Piece from Zeiss hide the BLACK-WINGED STILT and a pair of Common Terns and a Little Ringed Plover. On the Bottom New Piece three Greenshanks. A Little Ringed Plover on the Rushy early morning, later one on South Lake maybe the same, and a Common Sandpiper on South Lake. From Middle Point at least 14 Sanderlings and two Grey Plovers. Edge     Two Red Kites over the Edgemoor Inn at midday. On Rudge Hill an adult Tawny Owl mobbed then chased by Blackbirds, a Kestrel and four Willow Warblers. (MK).

Westrip     Three Red Kites over the garden W to E at 2:25pm. (Ty Mein).

Berkeley Road     A Red Kite flew low to the A38 near the Prince of Wales hotel heading N at 3:30pm. (Tim McGrath).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Three Avocets, two Redshanks, an Oystercatcher, two Little Ringed Plovers, a Ringed Plover, a Curlew, three Little Egrets, broods of Lapwings and Mallards, a juvenile Little Grebe, a Cuckoo, three Yellow Wagtails, a pair of Wigeon, a pair of Teal and a Lesser Whitethroat along the canal. Gloucester     A Cuckoo calling near Lower Parting. (Helen Bojaniwska). At Alney Island two Buzzards, a Blackcap, two Chiffchaffs, two Sedge Warblers, a Cetti’s Warbler heard and a Reed Bunting. (Paul Brunt).

Stow-on-the-Wold     Three Swifts N over the A436 at 11am. (Andy & Sue Gibbons).

Fairford     A Corn Bunting singing and showing well NE of Fairford and E of the Fairford to Hatherop road. (John Durell).

Whiteshill     Three Ravens, two adults and a juvenile regularly visiting the garden. (Brian Elloway).

Purton     A Grey Heron and a Black-headed Gull on the canal at Purton bridge, a Cuckoo heard near the hulks and a Sedge Warbler near the old railway bridge. (Mike Fisher).

Sharpness     Four active House Martin nests on the Dockers club. (Mike Fisher).
