Forest of Dean     A Barn Owl briefly this morning at 7:25 over the lake at Woorgreens. (Frank Williams).

WWT Slimbridge     The male WHITE-SPOTTED BLUETHROAT still singing and showing well from the Shepherd’s Hut at Middle Point. The BLACK-WINGED STILT still on South Lake and nine Green Sandpipers, 101 Black-tailed Godwits, 70 Avocets, three Little Ringed Plovers and four drake Pochards. A summer plumage Spotted Redshank, a Greenshank, an eclipse male GARGANEY and a Cuckoo from Zeiss hide. On the river a Turnstone, four Sanderlings, a Dunlin, 12 Ringed Plovers and c45 Curlews. Gloucester     A Red Kite flying over the river visible from Gloucester Prison at 10:20am. (Tom Berry).
