WWT Slimbridge     The male WHITE-SPOTTED BLUETHROAT still at Middle Point today. The BLACK-WINGED STILT on the Rushy today and four Green Sandpipers. Two male Ruffs and two Spotted Redshanks on South Lake. A GARGANEY from Zeiss hide. Open to WWT members from 8:15am (have your membership card with you), normal access for all via admissions from 9:30am. (Slimbridge Sightings/Andy Jayne/John Fletcher).

Frampton pools     A Great White Egret, a Cuckoo, a Hobby, seven Common Terns, an Oystercatcher, the Ross’s Goose, 40 Barnacle Geese, 14 Canada Geese, 43 Greylags, 28 Swifts and a Kingfisher. (Nick Goatman).

Forest of Dean     A Spotted Flycatcher from Campbell hide this afternoon, catching flies and bathing. (John Elley). At Cannop ponds at 6pm, on Lower pond by the stoneworks two Pied Wagtails, male and female Tufted Duck, seven Mallards, a Coot, a pair of Canada Geese with five goslings and a pair of Greylags with one gosling. Coombe Hill Meadows     This afternoon birds included Reed Warbler, Sedge Warbler, Cetti’s Warbler, Reed Bunting, Chiffchaff, a Great White Egret, a Little Egret and Curlew. (Alan McIlquham).
