Tewkesbury An adult BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT HERON found at The Mythe pits today, showing well until 7:25pm at least. Parking is difficult, with c3 spaces at the top of the lane next to the garden centre at SO8895834064 or park in Tewkesbury and walk to the bird at cSO8793334795. Don’t park in the the garden centre please. (Geoff Everitt). Also late afternoon other birds included up to ten Mandarins, two Common Terns, a pair of Great Crested Grebes with four young, a calling Cuckoo, a pair of Oystercatchers with a chick, a Lapwing, two Kingfishers, five Yellow Wagtails and a Cetti’s Warbler.
