WWT Slimbridge     The male WHITE-SPOTTED BLUETHROAT showing again this morning on reedbed perches. The BLACK-WINGED STILT on the Rushy today. Two Spotted Redshanks and two male Ruffs on South Lake. A WOOD SANDPIPER again on the Top New Piece. Open to WWT members from 8:15am (have your membership card with you), normal access for all via admissions from 9:30am. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Gloucester    c30 Swifts over Hempsted village at 10:05am. (Mark Hobson).

Forest of Dean     At Cannop upper pond c30 Mallards, also a female Mallard with five small ducklings, two female Mandarins, two juvenile Coots, two Little Grebes, five Ravens and two Mute Swans with one cygnet. (Chris Keeling).

Bourton-on-the-Water     At Field Barn camping park birds included two Mute Swans, two Canada Geese, three Greylags, four Gadwalls, six Great Crested Grebes, a Cormorant, five Red Kites, two Buzzards, two Hobbies, two Grey Partridges, a Green Woodpecker, 27 Swallows, four Meadow Pipits, 36 Goldfinches, four Chaffinches, seven Linnets, eight Yellowhammers and nine Blue Tits. At SP1720 around lakes off Rissington Road 84 Canada Geese, 13 Greylags, 17 Mallards, two Great Crested Grebes, four Little Egrets, five Grey Herons, 15 Coots, two Cormorants, four Red Kites, two Green Woodpeckers, five Swifts and six Chiffchaffs. Bishops Cleeve     Three Swifts over the A435/Southam Lane junction and a Sparrowhawk carrying prey. (Howard Taylor).
