WWT Slimbridge     THE BLACK-WINGED STILT on the Rushy today and later on the Tack Piece. Also a Spotted Redshank. Nine Little Ringed Plovers and 16 Green Sandpipers around the grounds. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Clapton-on-the-Hill     The OSPREY viewed distantly again today from the lane N of Newbridge sat in large dead tree at at SP179180. It was present for much of the day but flew off this afternoon and then returned at 5:15pm. (Keith Jennings).

Tintern     No sight or sound of the reported Great Reed Warbler opposite Tintern Abbey this afternoon. The reedbed is c1/4ml long and 50yds across the river. 3+ Buzzards, a Sparrowhawk, a Little Egret, a Cormorant, 10+ Swifts, 4+ House Martins and a Great Spotted Woodpecker. There is no close access on the Glos side. (Andy Jayne/MK).

Frampton     At 5pm the adult Yellow-legged Gull on the pontoon adjacent to the Sailing Club. (Les Ditchburn).
