Saul Warth     This afternoon at low tide three Yellow Wagtails, an adult and two juveniles, 86 Avocets, 20+ Curlews, five Black-tailed Godwits, two Oystercatchers and 20+ Shelducks. (MK).

Epney     Three Little Egrets and a Grey Heron at Epney late afternoon. (MK).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Waders included Greenshank, Redshank, Dunlin, Little Ringed Plover, Oystercatcher and Lapwing, also Wigeon and a Kingfisher. (Duncan Dine/Andy Wiggins).

Ashleworth Ham     A QUAIL singing strongly at first light, then on and off throughout the morning. CES ringing session caught 60 birds, including a Redstart, three Sedge Warblers, five Blackcaps, 12 Whitethroats, six Chiffchaffs, two Treecreepers, five Bullfinches and four Reed Buntings. Frampton     At the Sailing Lake six Swallows, 12 Linnets, six Common Terns, two Great Crested Grebes and a Buzzard. From Splatt Bridge a distant Marsh Harrier, two Little Egrets, a juvenile Green Woodpecker around the church and two Buzzards. (Paul Sutton).
