Leighterton     A QUAIL calling at midday SE of Bennetts Farm from the Monarch Way. (Paul Rich).

Saul Warth     At high tide a Great White Egret, four Little Egrets, a Grey Heron, a distant Marsh Harrier, a Kestrel, six Sanderlings, 44 Dunlins, 87+ Avocets, 108 Curlews, four Oystercatchers, a Redshank, two Common Terns fishing, a Grey Wagtail and a Great Spotted Woodpecker at the Sewage Works and 14 Mistle Thrushes behind it. WWT Slimbridge    A BITTERN flew along sea wall seen from Zeiss hide, a ringed Great White Egret on the river, a Green Sandpiper from Robbie Garnett and a Ruff and a Little Egret on the Rushy. (Martin Price).

Cheltenham     At Pittville Park an adult Common Tern over the boating lake briefly at 7:20am and a Danish colour-ringed Black-headed Gull back for its tenth winter. (John Sanders).

Stinchcombe Hill     Two Spotted Flycatchers amongst a small party of Chiffchaffs, Willow Warblers and Blackcaps this morning at the SW end of the hill, one caught a Red Admiral. Also six Brown Argus butterflies. (Brian Kings).

Winchcombe    10+ Bullfinches at the tertiary settlement lake at H&V Mill on the Isbourne Way at 11am, a mix of adults and juveniles showing well. (Stuart Galey).
