WWT Slimbridge     At Middle Point five ARCTIC TERNS (four adults and a juvenile) sat on mudflats along river channel just north of the point. Also eight Sanderlings. Sapperton    This morning a Spotted Flycatcher, a Marsh Tit, two Nuthatches, c20 Skylarks, c10 Yellowhammers, eight Goldfinches and a Swift. A male Sparrowhawk took a Skylark. (Paul Masters/MK).

Leighterton    Early morning along the Monarch’s Way a juvenile Wheatear, two Yellow Wagtails, two Corn Buntings, 4+ Skylarks, a Whitethroat, 20+ House Sparrows, a Hobby, a Kestrel, a Buzzard and a Swift. Also a Roe Deer and a Dusky Sallow moth. (Paul Masters/MK).

Frampton pools     Two Lesser Whitethroats, a Whitethroat, four Reed Warblers, 27 Blackcaps, 26 Chiffchaffs, two Willow Warblers, three Spotted Flycatchers, 12 Swifts, a Hobby, a Cetti’s Warbler, a Kingfisher, eight Common Terns, 137 Barnacle Geese, 14 Canada Geese, 20 Greylags, the Ross’s Goose, 35 Linnets, two Bullfinches and two Nuthatches. Dursley     A family party of at least five Spotted Flycatchers at Breakheart Quarry this afternoon, also a family of Bullfinches and a two Silver-washed Fritillaries. (Phil Pope).

Arlingham     Five Goosanders on the opposite side of the river to the Strand this afternoon. (Jeremy Squire).

Haw Bridge     A flock of 27 Mistle Thrushes today. (Robin Lewis).

Stonehouse     At Stanley Downton and along the canal near Bonds Mill a juvenile Goldfinch, a juvenile Chiffchaff, a juvenile Robin, a Little Egret, a Grey Heron, five Buzzards including a family of 2 adults and a juvenile and 12 Swallows including 6 juveniles. (Paul Sutton).
