WWT Slimbridge    The BITTERN again today showing well from Zeiss hide. Also three Garganeys here. A Common Sandpiper and 14 Green Sandpipers on the Tack Piece. (Neil Smart/Paul Masters/Magnus Carter). A Mediterranean Gull on South Lake at 3pm. (Ken Mihill).

Saul Warth     At 7am for high tide, 42 Curlews, 45 Avocets, a Black-tailed Godwit, two Oystercatchers, 16 Shelducks, four Grey Herons, two Little Egrets, two Kestrels, three Little Owls, 16 Mistle Thrushes, two Swallows, four Chiffchaffs, a Whitethroat and a Reed Warbler singing in the reedbed at Hock Cliff. Bullo Pill     A Great White Egret, six Little Egrets and two Grey Herons distantly in the tree roost N of the boat yard at high tide this morning. (MK).

Frampton     At least ten Common Terns on the Sailing Lake, and a Hobby on the foreshore. (Terry Grant).

Framilode Passage     A SPOONBILL feeding in the shallows with a Little Egret and two Grey Herons this afternoon. (Terry Grant).

Coombe Hill Meadows     From Grundon hide a Hobby chased down a House Martin. A Great White Egret chased off North scrape by a Grey Heron, back into the Long pool area. (Les Ditchburn).

Twyning     On Upham Meadow ten Canada Geese, at least five Skylarks and a very juvenile Wheatear. (Mike Smart).
