WWT Slimbridge     The PECTORAL SANDPIPER on the Rushy all day. Two CATTLE EGRETS on South Lake. (Molly Gould). A SPOONBILL and a Whimbrel from Middle Point. (Chris Moore). Also on the Rushy four Spotted Redshanks and a Great White Egret. (Dot Jones). A Hobby perched at Hogarth hide. (Charlotte Foote). Two Whinchats and six CATTLE EGRETS from the afternoon Safari. (Helen Bojaniwska/Greg & Tom Mabbett). Six Egrets were on Court Lake at noon, two were definitely breeding plumage CATTLE EGRETS, it’s likely that these were the Safari birds. (Bridgette King).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Five Whinchats on the southern meadows at 9:20am, view from the towpath S of the Long Pool withys. Also seven Swifts, a Kingfisher, a Raven, a Lesser Whitethroat and a Willow Warbler. (Ian Ralphs). This afternoon a female Marsh Harrier, a Great White Egret and a female Pintail. (Les Ditchburn).

Saul Warth     A Wheatear this morning and still present this afternoon. Also 65 Curlews and a Peregrine. (Gordon Hodgson/Nigel Young).
