Walmore Common     This morning a Tree Pipit flushed twice, very unusual here. Also a Hobby harassing a Buzzard, a Kingfisher, a Lesser Whitethroat, four Whinchats, three Stonechats and three Yellow Wagtails. (Andy Jayne).

Bourton-on-the-Water     The female Marsh Harrier at Bourton Pits South this morning. (Richard Tyler).

WWT Slimbridge    The WOOD SANDPIPER from Zeiss hide this morning. (Geoff Moyser). Also a Great White Egret and two Little Grebes from Zeiss hide. (Steve Pullen). Four SPOONBILLS together at Middle Point late morning. Three Spotted Redshanks, two Great White Egrets, a Garganey and eight Ruff on the Rushy. A Great Black Backed Gull and seven Cattle Egrets on South Lake. (Slimbridge Sightings/Steve Pullen/Sam Walker).

Ashleworth Ham     A ringing session this morning caught 62 birds including three Redstarts, a Reed Warbler, 14 Whitethroats, a Lesser Whitethroat, a Blackcap, two Willow Warblers, six Chiffchaffs, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Treecreeper, a Bullfinch and two Reed Buntings. Other the reserve a Buzzard, a Tree Pipit over early, c150 Carrion Crows and two Ravens.
