WWT Slimbridge     Six SPOONBILLS today, five from Zeiss hide and one on the Dumbles with a Great White Egret. Four Spotted Redshanks from Robbie Garnett hide. Two Wood Sandpipers around the grounds and an adult winter Mediterranean Gull on South Lake. Also a Hobby and a Red Kite and three Turnstones and 12 Sanderlings on the river. Saul Warth     This morning at high tide 110 Shelducks, four Little Egrets, 20 Curlews, three Common Sandpipers, a Little Owl, 240+ Swallows, three House Martins, five Chiffchaffs, two Blackcaps, a Whitethroat and two Skylarks. (MK).

Cam     On Long Down eight Spotted Flycatchers, three Whitethroats, five Chiffchaffs, a Green Woodpecker, a Redstart, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, two Buzzards and a steady passage of Swallows SW. (Neil Smart/Jeremy Squire).

Arlingham     South of the village in the Church Lane area, five Little Egrets, a Redstart and a Whinchat this afternoon. (Andy Jayne).

Forest of Dean     A Tawny Owl calling at 4:30am at Lower Mitcheldean. (Chris Keeling). At least four Tawny Owls including one male calling from farmland adjacent to Byfords Road, Huntley around 9pm. A Hobby chasing a House Martin earlier. (Derek Summers).

Stonehouse     A female Kingfisher at the Ocean and a Treecreeper and Long-tailed Tits at Ryeford. (Paul Sutton).
