WWT Slimbridge     At Middle Point the male BLUETHROAT showed briefly on the sticks viewed from Shepherds Hut hide, for the first time since July 4th! Also two Garganeys and three Spotted Redshanks on the Rushy. Two more Garganeys from Kingfisher hide and two WOOD SANDPIPERS and 22 Ruff on the Top New Piece from Zeiss hide. (Slimbridge Sightings). An OSPREY over the afternoon safari, initially picked up very distantly circling in the Frampton direction before it headed low straight for the reserve. Sharpness     A SHAG off of SARA this morning, then flew S. (Paul Taylor).

Saul Warth     Early morning four Grey Herons, five Little Egrets, 65 Shelducks, two Common Sandpipers, 122 Curlews, three Little Owls, a Hobby, a Reed Warbler, a Lesser Whitethroat, 7+ Chiffchaffs, a Grey Wagtail, a Yellow Wagtail heard and two Skylarks. (MK).

Coombe Hill Meadows     12 Grey Herons, three Great White Egrets, four Little Egrets, four Cattle Egrets, four Snipe, two Marsh Harriers and a Hobby this morning. (Jeremy Holland/Duncan Dine/Nick Hughes).

Purton     At lunchtime two Curlew Sandpipers, 13 Sanderlings, two Ruff, 130 Ringed Plovers, 85 Dunlins, a Common Sandpiper and 28 Curlews amongst the c500 mobile and mostly small waders. Also an immature SPOONBILL, a Rock Pipit and a Yellow Wagtail. (Francis Steuck).

Awre     A Marsh Harrier, two Ruff, 53 Ringed Plovers, 21 Dunlins, a Common Sandpiper, a Common Crane and three Yellow Wagtails today. (Dan Watson).

Elmore Court     At the Rewilding Project from the public footpath along Broadmeadow Bank Ditch birds this afternoon included a Greenshank, a Green Sandpiper, 4+ Stonechats, a male Kestrel, a female Sparrowhawk, a Red Kite, two Skylarks, four Meadow Pipits and six Linnets. (Steve Pullen).
