WWT Slimbridge    From Zeiss hide eight SPOONBILLS, a Greenshank, eight Ruff, 443 Teal, 42 Shovelers, two Great White Egrets and a Cattle Egret. (Ian Hull/Tim Jukes).

Saul Warth     From 6:30am four Little Egrets, a Cattle Egret, 36 Shelducks, 142 Curlews, nine Knot, two Dunlins, two Ruff, two Avocets, a Ringed Plover, two Common Sandpipers, a Hobby, a Sparrowhawk, a Kestrel, a Kingfisher, eight Swallows, a Reed Warbler, four Chiffchaffs and a Blackcap. (MK).

Forest of Dean     A Wheatear at Crabtree Hill at 6:40 this morning. (Frank Williams).

Cambridge     Two Common Cranes flew over the A38 this morning and appeared to land in fields to the E off Elmcote Lane. (Scott Petrek).

Purton     A Goshawk just missed a Woodpigeon along the canal by the timber ponds at 9:30am. (Brian Kings).

Coombe Hill Meadows     A Grey Heron, six Little Egrets, c15 Teal, two Snipe, six Lapwings, two Buzzards, a Kestrel, three Red Kites, two Whinchats, a Stock Dove, a Jay and three Reed Buntings. (Paul Brunt). Also a Garden Warbler, two Treecreepers, two Snipe and a Tree Pipit calling in flight. (Ken Heron & Jenny Jones).
