Framilode/Epney A first-summer CASPIAN GULL opposite Framilode Church at 9:45am, but pushed upstream by the tide to Epney where it showed well over the river S of The Anchor Inn. (Martin McGill). Saul Warth From 6:30am over high tide 14 Grey Herons, a Little Egret, 63 Shelducks, 11 Teal, 52 Ringed Plovers, two Sanderlings, 11 Dunlins, a Common Sandpiper, 92 Curlews, a Kingfisher again, a Grey Wagtail, a Meadow Pipit, three Skylarks, five Chiffchaffs and a Lesser Whitethroat. (MK).

Coombe Hill Meadows WeBS count included 177 Teal, 60 Mallards, eight Wigeon, three Shovelers, 32 Canada Geese, four Mute Swans, two Little Egrets, 17 Lapwings, 10+ Snipe, two Marsh Harriers, a juvenile and 2cy female, a Goshawk through, a Red Kite, a Buzzard, a Water Rail, a Kingfisher, two Yellow Wagtails, a Stonechat, three Cetti’s Warblers and two Sedge Warbler.(Ian Ralphs/Mike Smart).
