Frampton     The Court Lake OSPREY flew out of its roost at 7:27am and out of sight behind pines in the NE corner. Also 7 Cattle Egrets, five Little Egrets, a Kingfisher, a Cetti’s Warbler, two Chiffchaffs, a Mistle Thrush and a Grey Wagtail. (MK). This evening the OSPREY still, a Hobby, nine Cattle Egrets, five Little Egrets, 12 Cormorants, three Grey Herons, eight Wigeon, 12 Shovelers, eight Gadwalls, 12 Tufted Ducks, two Cetti’s Warblers and five Swallows. (Nick Goatman).

WWT Slimbridge    From Zeiss hide five SPOONBILLS, a WOOD SANDPIPER, six Spotted Redshanks, 21 Ruff, six Little Stints, 11 Sanderlings, 73 Ringed Plovers, 1+ Curlew Sandpiper, three Redshanks, four Black-tailed Godwits, 178 Dunlins, 18 Lapwings and a Peregrine. (Tim Jukes). On South Lake 216 Black-tailed Godwits, six Ringed Plovers, three Ruff and 25 Dunlins. (Dot Jones).

Saul Warth     A Bar-tailed Godwit, three Ringed Plovers, five Curlews, 45 Shelducks, a juvenile Stonechat and three Chiffchaffs. (MK).

About The Gloster Birder
