Also around the pools a Hobby, a Red Kite, a Buzzard, a Sparrowhawk, seven Cattle Egrets, four Little Egrets, a Great White Egret, a Kingfisher, two Cetti’s Warblers, two Little Grebes, two Wigeon, seven Shovelers, 18 Gadwalls, 32 Mallards, 17 Cormorants, three Mistle Thrushes, a steady stream of Swallows and the adult Yellow-legged Gull on the Sailing Lake. WWT Slimbridge    On the Top New Piece from Zeiss hide a WOOD SANDPIPER, 26 Ruff and five Spotted Redshanks. On South Lake four SPOONBILLS flew off towards Zeiss hide and another Spotted Redshank. (Slimbridge Sightings).
