Frampton pools     The OSPREY on Court Lake until it flew out over the village at 10am. Also around the pools nine Cattle Egrets, a Great White Egret, 20 Gadwalls, 14 Shovelers, 15 Tufted Ducks, the adult Yellow-legged Gull, six Cetti’s Warblers, 60+ Meadow Pipits, 40+ Skylarks, a Crossbill, four Siskins, a Lesser Redpoll, 14 Swallows, two House Martins, 14 Chiffchaffs and 46 Robins. WWT Slimbridge    A WOOD SANDPIPER and a Green Sandpiper on the Rushy. 195 Black-tailed Godwits on South Lake with a Grey Heron and a Little Egret. From the Estuary Tower this afternoon 12 Common Cranes, 200+ Lapwings, a Greenshank, Curlew and a small flock of Golden Plovers. (Magnus Carter/Ken Mihill).

Hampton Fields     Two Red Kites circling over the nearby woodland. (Terry Grant).

Chapman Cross     230+ Golden Plovers, 200+ Linnets and a Red Kite. (Terry Grant).

Avening     Three Wheatears on a wall at Star Farm. (Terry Grant).

Barton End     A male Merlin, a Wheatear, a Stonechat, six Golden Plovers, 60+ Skylarks and a Red Kite. (Terry Grant).

Guscar Rocks/Aylburton Warth     On this morning’s high tide 445 Canada Geese, 40 Greylags, a Pink-footed Goose, seven Wigeon, a Teal, five Mallards, 200 Curlews, three Redshanks, six Swallows going downriver and a Stonechat. (Mike Smart).
