Frampton     The OSPREY on Court Lake again all day today. Also the adult Yellow-legged Gull, a Green Woodpecker, two Jays and ten Swallows through. (Nigel Young/Heather England/MK). This evening a Cattle Egret, a Great White Egret, 36 Gadwalls, 31 Mallards, 14 Shovelers, ten Tufted Ducks, a Teal, two Grey Herons, 116 Coots, four Chiffchaffs, 12 Goldcrests and 24 Siskins. (Nick Goatman). Please note tomorrow (Sunday) there is a horse trial all the way around Court Lake.

Forest of Dean     An OSPREY (photographed) again at Cannop ponds this morning. (Sara Aycliffe per Frank Williams). The OSPREY was unsuccessfully fishing on the two main Cannop ponds between 12:15-2:30pm and was still there at 2:30pm being harassed by two crows whilst perched in a tree. (Simon Middlecoat).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Between 8 and 9am a Cattle Egret, 50 Teal, four Wigeon, two Shovelers, four Grey Herons, two Jays, four Stock Doves, two Chiffchaffs and two Bullfinches. (Richard Williams). Also a Marsh Harrier. (Eric Harris).

WWT Slimbridge     From Middle Point at 11am 165 Golden Plovers, two Grey Plovers, four Knot, a Dunlin and three Bar-tailed Godwits. (Ian Ralphs). A Goshawk flew S over the Top New Piece at 11:20am. (Helen Bojaniwska).

Saul Warth     Late morning a Wigeon, 80 Curlews, two Little Egrets, a Buzzard, a Kestrel, a Raven, seven Meadow Pipits, three Skylarks and seven Linnets. (MK).

Chavenage Lane area     This afternoon, a female MERLIN chased and caught a small bird which had tried to hide in bushes. Also 1300+ Common Gulls, 350+ Stock Doves, 10+ Buzzards, two Kestrels, a female Sparrowhawk, a Red Kite, a Chiffchaff and two Common Lizards. (Terry Grant).

Nailsworth      A Wheatear, a Stonechat and a Red Kite at Barton End. (Terry Grant).
