WWT Slimbridge    A juvenile PECTORAL SANDPIPER on the Top New Piece from Zeiss hide. (Martin McGill). A Red Kite low over South Lake towards Purton. (Tim McGrath). The BARRED WARBLER still from the Estuary Tower today. (Jake King).

Frampton     The OSPREY still at Court Lake today. Also a Great White Egret, two Little Egrets and three Grey Herons, seven Swallows and five Curlews. (Mike Davis/Nick Goatman/Christopher Teague).

Forest of Dean     The OSPREY still at Cannop ponds today. (Liz Drewitt). At Woorgreens E of Speech House Woodlands carpark two Ravens, c6 Crossbills over calling and several parties of Siskins feeding high. On the heath two Green Woodpeckers, a pair of Stonechats and a Buzzard, also a Treecreeper beside the main W side track. At Cannop upper pond birds included a drake Gadwall and a Little Grebe with 3-4 Coal Tits, a Marsh Tit and a Nuthatch visiting the feed tray. At the lower pond c12 Mandarins, also a Marsh Tit heard along the E waterside path. At the Stoneworks a pair of Dippers and a Grey Wagtail below the outfall. (Andy & Sue Gibbons).

Chavenage Lane     18 Corn Buntings, two Red Kites and 50+ Skylarks today. (Terry Grant).

Purton     A WATER PIPIT and seven Rock Pipits in the silage bales area at high tide. Also five Bramblings flew W and 11 Swallows. (Francis Steuck).

Cirencester     An oddly placed Grey Partridge walking about at 7am at the bottom of Gloucester Street. (Colin Knight).

Stroud    Around Fromehall Mill  at lunchtime a Dipper, a Treecreeper and a Jay. (Richard Williams/Simon Ashley).
