WWT Slimbridge     A juvenile AMERICAN GOLDEN PLOVER on the Top New Piece from Zeiss Hide at 9:45am. Also a Curlew Sandpiper and 34 Golden Plovers. The Lesser White-fronted Goose of unknown origin with Canada Geese on the Dumbles. (Martin McGill). The BARRED WARBLER again in scrub below the Estuary Tower and was seen along the walkway this afternoon. (Martin McGill/Carol Rushton & Steve Curtis).

Walmore Common     A JACK SNIPE this morning. (Andy Jayne).

Awre     A SHORT-EARED OWL flew high to the W this morning. Also a Rock Pipit. (Dan Watson).

Frampton     The OSPREY on Court Lake still. Around the pools six Great White Egrets, a Peregrine, plenty of Siskins, Skylarks and Meadow Pipits, a Kingfisher, four Cetti’s Warblers, three Chiffchaffs, a Blackcap and two Raven. This evening a Marsh Harrier, a Kestrel, a Sparrowhawk and a Cattle Egret. (Nick Goatman).

Nailsworth     520+ Golden Plovers, a covey of 22 Grey Partridges and a Red Kite. (Terry Grant). A Little Owl at Barton End today. (Paul Sadley).

Chavenage Green     This morning four Red Kites and two Marsh Harriers. (Paul Sadley). The Wheatear still today. (Terry Grant).

Berkeley shore     c400 Canada Geese, at least eight Stonechats, five Swallows and an immature Marsh Harrier today. (James Robinson/Jon Haw).
