Cotswold Water Park East     A PURPLE HERON at Whelford Pools N.R. at 10am and present until mid-afternoon at least from the hide at Pit 111. (Emma Powell).

Cleeve Hill     Four RING OUZELS and a SHORT-EARED OWL today. (Greg Mabbett/Duncan Dine). Also a late Redstart. (Andy Wiggins).

WWT Slimbridge    The AMERICAN GOLDEN PLOVER was amongst 345 Golden Plovers on the river at 11:15am. (James Robinson). This afternoon a Redstart, a Whinchat and 8+ Stonechats this afternoon. (Martin McGill).

Epney     At 5:55pm at least two Whooper Swans flew S and 14 Cattle Egrets on the Rodley side. (Jeremy Squire).

Frampton     At Court Lake the OSPREY showing intermittently, a LITTLE GULL and a Great White Egret. (Jeremy Squire). Also the Yellow-legged Gull. (Chris Teague). A distant SHORT-EARED OWL, a Marsh Harrier, two Buzzards and a Sparrowhawk from Splatt Bridge. (James Robinson).

Tresham     Early morning a Marsh Harrier again, eight Corn Buntings and a Red Kite. (Paul Rich).

Forest of Dean    At 8am a Kingfisher flew off from the nursery pond at Nagshead. At lower hide, a juvenile male Kingfisher fishing from the shallower pond. Also a Nuthatch, a Great Spotted Woodpecker and a Fieldfare heard. At Cannop ponds, 28 Mandarins (23m, 5f), 14 Tufted Ducks, four Little Grebes, two Wigeon, a Gadwall and a noisy Fallow buck W of the B road. (Iain Crawford).

Chavenage Lane/ Chavenage Green:  20+ Red Kites, 27 Buzzards, five Kestrels and six Stonechats (3m, 3f). (Terry Grant).

Nailsworth     A male MERLIN hunting at Barton End.  Also 130+ Golden Plovers. (Terry Grant).

Gloucester     A female Goosander still at Saintbridge pond today. (Paul Brunt).

Elmore     A Red Kite flew across Barhouse Farm and headed W back towards Farley’s End 3:30pm. (Ian Elphick).
