Frampton pools     A RING OUZEL briefly with a thrush flock but flew off over Nebrow Hill. Also a late Northern Wheatear, the OSPREY caught a Tench early morning but not after, the LITTLE GULL until lunchtime, 16 Cattle Egrets, a Great White Egret, a female Goosander on the Sailing Lake, the adult Yellow-legged Gull, eight Pochards, nine Wigeon, six Chiffchaffs, a Blackcap, 21 Lesser Redpolls, 54 Siskins, a Grey Wagtail, two Grey Plovers, 100+ Golden Plovers and 102 Fieldfares. Poulton     A SHORT-EARED OWL in the fields on the N side of the main road at 11:15am. (Ken Heron).

Chavenage Green area     Birds today included a hunting female MERLIN, a male Sparrowhawk, two Red Kites, two Buzzards, two Kestrels, c20 Corn Buntings, ten Yellowhammers, six Linnets, 20 Meadow Pipits and 100+ Fieldfares. (Chris Newton).

Gloucester     At Alney Island a pair of Stonechats along by the football ground on the Oxleaze and another pair on Port Ham. Also in the area a pair of Buzzards, a female Sparrowhawk and three Meadow Pipits. (Gordon Avery).
