Cotswold Water Park East     The juvenile PURPLE HERON still at Whelford Pools N.R. today. (Dot Jones).

Frampton pools     An AMERICAN GOLDEN PLOVER flew over E calling. Also a Lesser Whitethroat in the Gravel Wash, a Lapwing, 21 Siskins, four Chiffchaffs, two Fieldfares, 45 Pied Wagtails, a Grey Wagtail, eight Goldcrests and the adult Yellow-legged Gull. (Nick Goatman). At Splatt Bridge this afternoon a female Marsh Harrier passed through heading towards Slimbridge. (Steve Pullen).

Cleeve Hill    Two BLACK REDSTARTS on and around the masts today. (Tom Mabbett).

Lydney     At New Grounds and along the Severn mid morning seven Cormorants, three Grey Herons, a Great White Egret, a flock of Goldfinches, two Meadow Pipits and a female Wheatear. (Martin Vaisey).

Shepherds Patch, Slimbridge     At least one Cattle Egret amongst Little Egrets in the field on the left before the Tudor Arms and canal this morning. (Mike Davis).

Elkstone    230+ Golden Plovers in fields between the A417 and Elkstone at c SO962127. Presumably the usual mobile winter flock that moves around the area S of Birdlip. (Jon Mercer).

Saul Warth     35 Shelducks, four Great Black-backed Gulls, eight Curlews and a Stonechat, Six Meadow Pipits a Kestrel and four Mistle Thrushes near Hock Ditch. Four Buzzards at Fretherne. (Steve Pullen).

Stinchcombe Hill     This morning a Stonechat, two Crossbills heading S and a few Redwings. (James Robinson).
