Forest of Dean At Woorgreens and Crabtree Hill today a Jack Snipe, three Snipe, two Grey Herons, a Sparrowhawk, a Kingfisher, two Ravens, four Nuthatches, a Treecreeper, three Stonechats, two Meadow Pipits, four Bramblings, four Crossbills and 100+ Siskins with a few Lesser Redpolls mixed in. At Cannop Ponds 25 Mandarins, a drake Gadwall, seven Wigeon, 49 Mallards, three Tufted Ducks, 17 Coots, nine Little Grebes, four Cormorants, a Raven and 20 Siskins. Tewkesbury At Mythe Hook still large concentration of wildfowl on floodwater including 12 Mute Swans, at least 500 Greylags, 200 Canada Geese, at least 600 Wigeon, at least 400 Teal, 70 Mallards, at least 25 Pintails, at least 82 Shovelers, five Tufted Ducks, three Cormorants, a Peregrine, five Coots, 15 Lapwings and a flock of at least 200 Golden Plovers.
