Sharpness     Two first-winter/female BLACK REDSTARTS at the end of Dock Road around the excavated area until 3pm today at least. (Andy Jordan).

WWT Slimbridge     A BITTERN showing well from the Van De Bovenkamp hide this morning. (Zoe Ashdown). The pair of WHOOPER SWANS on the Tack Piece near the Goose House this afternoon. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Saul Warth     At 8am after high tide 2000+ Dunlins, nine Curlews, two Redshanks, a Little Egret, six Cormorants, 10+ Fieldfares, 16 Goldfinches and two Chiffchaffs at the sewage works. (MK).

Stonehouse     Along the Stroudwater Canal between Bonds Mill to Ryeford Double Lock this morning a Little Grebe, two Kingfishers and a Great Spotted Woodpeckers. (Mike Davis).

Cheltenham     At Pittville Lawn a Tawny Owl started hooting at 3am this morning. (Howard Taylor).

Quedgeley     A Parakeet sp at Rea Bridge this morning, presumably Ring-necked. (Andy Chapman). No sign this afternoon but a Kingfisher there. Also two Water Rails on the marshy area next to Clearwater primary school at 3:30pm. (Steve Pullen).
