WWT Slimbridge     This morning from the Kingfisher hide 112 White-Fronted Geese feeding in the Bottom New Piece. (Neil Smart). Two WHOOPER SWANS on the Tack Piece briefly before returning to the fields to the N. A Spotted Redshank on the Tack Piece. Two DARK-BELLIED BRENT GEESE on the Dumbles. Also today a Marsh Harrier, an Avocet and 38 Greenfinches in alders. (Ian Ralphs/Dan Fletcher/Dean Reeves & Karen Jayne).

Shepherd’s Patch     12 Egrets, including at least three Cattle Egrets, feeding in the grass field. (Neil Smart).

Quedgeley     A Ring-necked Parakeet on the edge of Taylors Ground Grove at lunchtime today showing very well. Along Sims Lane this morning in the waterlogged field between the canal and the farm, 29 Pied Wagtails, a Grey Wagtail, 20+ Meadow Pipits, 30+ Linnets, 10+ Chaffinches, 40+ Starlings, a Buzzard and 12 Black-headed Gulls. Saul Warth     This afternoon a Rock Pipit at Hock Cliff, a Chiffchaff at the sewage works, two Meadow Pipits, a Greenfinch and an adult Great Black-backed Gull eating an eel. (MK).

Chapman Cross     500+ Fieldfares, including a leucistic bird, 1200+ Starlings, 500+ Linnets, 180+ Goldfinches, a Corn Bunting, two Red-legged Partridges and a Kestrel. (Terry Grant).

Chavenage Lane area     Four Red Kites today. (Terry Grant).
