Forest of Dean     c12 Crossbills drinking from a ditch at Crabtree Hill this morning. (Frank Williams). Five redhead Goosanders at Mallards Pike this morning. (Paul Masters).

Saul Warth     At high tide this afternoon a Common Sandpiper and a Rock Pipit the only birds on the river. Also a Chiffchaff at the sewage works, a Meadow Pipit, two Pied Wagtails, 15 Fieldfares, a Redwing and 50 Starlings. (MK).

WWT Slimbridge    c600 Black-tailed Godwits feeding on the Top New Piece in front of Zeiss hide late morning. Also 12 Avocets. Two WHOOPER SWANS NE of the centre, with the Whitefront flock, visible from the Sloane Tower. 15 Ruff on the Tack Piece. (Roberta Goodall).

Gloucester     A Peregrine on the N face of the Cathedral tower at midday today. (Nigel Young). 100 Pied Wagtails roosting tonight in trees and bushes near Sainsbury’s. (David Smith).

Tewkesbury     At Mythe Hook five Mute Swans, 40 Greylags, 200 Canada Geese, 195 Wigeon, five Teal, four Gadwalls, 135 Mallards, ten Pintails, 61 Shovelers, two Grey Herons and two Lapwings. At Mythe Brick Pits two Mute Swans, a Cormorant and 50 Fieldfares. (Mike Smart).

Leigh Meadows     26 Little Egrets and 11 Bewick’s Swans on the floodwater, including one cygnet. (Mike Smart).
