Fairford     18 WAXWINGS in the Eight Bells, Railway Inn area early morning, chased off berries by Mistle Thrushes, but have returned twice. No sign after 8:45am. (Mick Jones).

WWT Slimbridge     15 Avocets on South Lake.  (Jeanne Vitkovskis). A MERLIN from Zeiss hide today. (Sarah Townsend).

Frampton pools     A large murmuration of Starlings over Court Lake late afternoon. Also 19 Little Egrets, 32 Cormorants, 86 Tufted Ducks, 22 Gadwalls, a Wigeon, two Shovelers, 24 Pied Wagtails, a Kingfisher, two Chiffchaffs, 30+ Redwings, two Fieldfares, five Ravens and a Goshawk. (Nick Goatman).

Saul Warth     A Rock Pipit, four Chiffchaffs at the sewage works and a mixed flock of 30 Fieldfares, 20 Redwings and 100 Starlings. (MK).

Nailsworth     A Dipper on the stream at Egypt Mill today. (Jake King).

Netheridge Farm    18 Lapwings flew W over the Barn Owl Centre today. (Mark Hobson).

Gloucester     At Alney Island a Mute Swan, two Snipe, a Grey Heron, four Moorhens, two Buzzards, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, 3+ Stonechats (2m, 1f), a Chiffchaff, a Goldcrest, 20 Goldfinches and eight Lesser Redpolls feeding in a Silver Birch by the old lock. (Gordon Avery).
