Tidenham Chase     Three JACK SNIPE roosting this afternoon. (Steve Thorogood).

Uley    In the Uley valley today a female Kestrel and a Grey Heron at Rockstowes, 16 Mandarins, 20 Mallards and four Teal on the pond north of Owlpen Farm and two Red Kites circling above the pond behind Owlpen Manor. (Tim Thompson).

WWT Slimbridge    An Egyptian Goose on the Rushy, two Cattle Egrets on the Tack Piece, two Water Rails from the Willow hide and a Great Crested Grebe on South Lake. (Paul Clark). Two WHOOPER SWANS from Sloane Tower to the N. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Maisemore    Four Egyptian Geese in a maize stubble field at Maisemore Ham today. (Andy Jayne).

Frampton     A drake Red Crested Pochard on the sailing lake at lunchtime today. Also two drake Goldeneyes, four Chiffchaffs, a male Blackcap, two Mistle Thrushes and two Jays. (Steve Pullen).

Leigh Meadows     Two Mute Swans, seven Shelducks, at least 18 Little Egrets, a Grey Heron, a Cormorant, a Green Sandpiper and 40 Fieldfares. (Mike Smart).

Coombe Hill Meadows     Flooding still very high, no hope of reaching Grundon Hide for some days yet, viewed from high ground to the south. 500+ Canada Geese, 50+ Greylags, two Shelducks, 200+ Wigeon, 20+ Teal, 30+ Pintails, 10+ Shovelers, 20+ Lapwings, a Mistle Thrush and 20 Fieldfares.
