Forest of Dean     At Soudley ponds this morning, 45 Mandarins, five Goosanders, five Little Grebes, 20+ Reed Buntings, two Coal Tits, a Nuthatch, a Kingfisher, a Jay and a Tawny Owl. (Iain Crawford/Andy Jayne). c80 mixed Chaffinches and Bramblings on the north slope of Serridge Ridge this morning. (Geoff Fawcett). A Raven, two Bramblings, a Hawfinch and five Crossbills at New Fancy View. 100+ Chaffinches, 100+ Bramblings and two Hawfinches at Churchill Inclosure. A Dipper in song at Wench Ford and 22 Little Grebes at Flaxley Pool. (Andy Jayne). At Woorgreens 50+ Siskins, 10+ Crossbills, three Lesser Redpolls, a pair of Stonechats, a Green Woodpecker, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a Treecreeper and a Mistle Thrush. (Martin Price). At Cannop ponds four Goosanders (2m, 2f), two Little Grebes, three Cormorants, three Goosanders, nine Mandarins, a Marsh Tit, a Raven, two Treecreepers, a Nuthatch and a Coal Tit (Martin Price/Paul Clark).

Frampton pools     Around the pools a drake Goldeneye, four Bullfinches, a Cetti’s Warbler, a Nuthatch, a Coal Tit, eight Mistle Thrushes, 20 Redwings and a Fieldfare. At Splatt Bridge this afternoon, two Shelducks and a Little Egret on the flashes. 150+ Redwings, 40+ Fieldfares, two Mistle Thrushes, four Song Thrushes and 20+Blackbirds in the bushes. Also two Ravens and three Carrion Crows feeding on a dead goose. (Steve Pullen). A Brimstone butterfly on the wing at the sailing lake today. (Nigel Cramp).

WWT Slimbridge     Three OTTERS from Kingfisher hide today. A WHOOPER SWAN and the DARK-BELLIED BRENT GOOSE still. (Slimbridge Sightings/Jeremy Holland).

Saul Warth      This morning at least two Rock Pipits between Hock Ditch and Hock Cliff. (MK).

Tewkesbury     At Mythe Hook four Mute Swans, 100 Greylags, 100 Canada Geese, 500 Wigeon, 20 Teal, 20 Mallards, five Pintails and three Little Grebes. (Mike Smart).

Cotswold Water Park East    In the Whelford pools area birds included three Pintails, four Goosanders (3m, 1f), a Goldeneye, a Treecreeper, a Raven, and many Gadwalls, Wigeon, Teal, Shovelers, Mallards, Tufted Ducks, Coots, Great Crested Grebe and Cormorant. (Jonathan Stebbing).
