Cheltenham     Eight WAXWINGS still by Naunton Park Primary School in the ornamental gardens today at SO9509520834. (Gordon Avery/Steve Pullen). Also a a Peregrine over Leckhampton Road this morning. (Steve Pullen).

Prestbury    13 WAXWINGS in Apple Orchard  in large Willows/Alders by the side of the Racecourse today until 3:30pm at least. (Andy Wiggins).

Sharpness     A BLACK REDSTART still at the end of Dock Road today.  (Andy Jordan).

Stonehouse    A pair of Dippers at Bond’s Mill at 8:40 this morning. Also a Little Egret, 40 Goldfinches and a Cormorant. (MK). A Kingfisher on the Stroud canal at Bridgend this afternoon. (Giles Diggle). A pair of Goosanders on Stroudwater Canal between Ryeford and Ebley yesterday, 6th January. (Matthew Tipper).

WWT Slimbridge     The Spotted Redshank on the Rushy, the Snow Goose, of unknown origin, from Martin Smith hide and the DARK-BELLIED BRENT GOOSE from Estuary Tower, both on the Tack Piece, and the Little Stint along the Dumbles scrape. This afternoon a MERLN briefly perched to SW of Zeiss hide. (Andy & Sue Gibbons).

Cirencester     Four Hawfinches this morning in Oakley Wood in the tall pines by Alfred’s Hall in Cirencester Park. (Martine Fenn).

Cotswold Water Park West     This evening on Pit 12 three Goldeneyes , two drakes, four Red Crested Pochards and two Egyptian Geese. (Richard Williams).

Forest of Dean    A Dipper at Cannop Ponds this afternoon and a Marsh Tit on the feeding table. Two Crossbills at New Fancy View and two Hawfinches at Parkend. (Ian Sherriffs).

Frampton pools     A Cattle Egret and 36 Little Egrets roosted on Court Lake. Also around the pools 40 Cormorants, three Goldeneyes (2m, 1f), 63 Tufted Ducks, five Gadwalls, a Kingfisher, nine Greylags, seven Great Crested Grebes, two Chiffchaffs, 20+ Siskins, two Ravens, 50+ Redwings, four Fieldfares, three Mistle Thrushes, ten Song Thrushes, three Bullfinches, male and female Blackcap and a Nuthatch.
