Rodborough Common     Up to 34 WAXWINGS throughout the day about the Common favouring an area around SO 85109 03925. The colour-ringed Waxwing is still present.(Fiona Gunn/Mark Hobson/Helen Bojaniwska/Dean Reeves & Karen Jayne).

Cambridge/Frampton    Between Cambridge Arms Bridge and Splatt Bridge, a WAXWING calling on the Nebrow Hill side of the canal, a Marsh Harrier, a Red Kite and a Kestrel and plenty of winter thrushes. (James Robinson).

Shepherds Patch, Slimbridge    Four Cattle Egrets and a Great White Egret between Shepherd’s Patch and Cambridge Arms Bridge this morning. Also a Great Crested Grebe on the canal and two WHOOPER SWANS with Bewick’s Swans in the field towards Slimbridge top hut. (James Robinson/Dave Creber/Shane Long). This afternoon six Cattle Egrets and two Little Egrets at Shepherd’s Patch at 3pm at SO7343404326 and three Chiffchaffs in the ditch. (MK).

WWT Slimbridge     A Little Stint on the Dumbles scrape from Estuary Tower. (Roberta Goodall).

Forest of Dean     At Parkend three Hawfinches high up in the trees by the cricket pitch in Crown Lane this morning. At  Lower Cannop six Goosanders (3m, 3f), 26+ Mandarins, a Cormorant, a Grey Heron and a Buzzard. At Upper Cannop five Wigeon and a pair of Dippers below the dam. (Mike Davis).

Cotswold Water Park East     On Pit 114, the SCAUP still, a Sparrowhawk over the lake, Siskins heard and two Egyptian Geese on the field over the access road.  The Pink footed Goose and a Great White Egret in the flooded field. (Greg Mabbett/Steve Brown/Ian Hull).

Sharpness     Three BLACK REDSTARTS, an adult male and two female types, around the lightship in Dock Road again today. Also three Stonechats and seven Linnets. (Chris Newton/Sarah Lister/Dean Reeves & Karen Jayne).

Ashleworth Ham     Birds today included c30 Pintails, 80 Teal and Shovelers, 100 Wigeon, a few Gadwalls and Mallards, two Shelducks, c200 Lapwings with a Grey Plover and six Dunlins and a Marsh Harrier. (Tom Mabbett).

Stroud     Along the Stroud water canal at lunchtime a female Goosander at Double Locks near Ebley Mill, a Little Grebe at Bond’s Mill and Mallard ducks mating. (Tim Thompson).

Hawling     1500+ flock of Linnets N of Hawling this afternoon. (Duncan Dine).

Cheltenham     A Red Kite this morning heading S over Pittville Lawn. (Howard Taylor).

Gretton      Three Lesser Redpolls feeding in Alder trees today. (Roger Wasley).
