Minchinhampton    No sign of the Waxwings at Rodborough Common this afternoon, but 27 WAXWINGS found at the N end of Minchinhampton Common at 4pm SO8530901798. (Jim Northcott).

Charlton Kings    19 WAXWINGS still in the Cirencester Road area this morning. (Mark Dowie). 19 WAXWINGS again today at 1:15pm in the in large conifer at the bottom of Bafford Lane before flying back to Cirencester Road. (Tom Mabbett).

Frampton     The LITTLE GULL still on the sailing lake again today until 2pm at least but very flighty due to disturbance. It hadn’t reappeared by 3:30pm. (Dot Jones/Nick Goatman/MK/Mark Dowie). A juvenile Goshawk by the poplar trees next to the Gravel Wash. (Nigel Young).

WWT Slimbridge     A WHOOPER SWAN on the Rushy this morning and another in fields beside the entrance roads. The Little Stint, the leucistic Lapwing and the juvenile DARK-BELLIED BRENT GOOSE from Estuary Tower. (Slimbridge Sightings). A pair of Goldeneyes on South Lake this morning, the Snow Goose of unknown origin on the Tack Piece and a Sparrowhawk briefly from the Robbie Garnett hide. Chavenage Lane     At least one Brambling with a 100+ Chaffinch flock this morning. (Paul Rich). Birds in the fields included two Kestrels, four Buzzards (one feeding on a pheasant carcass), three Red Kites, two Yellowhammers, two Pied Wagtails, several Linnets, a Song Thrush, c80 Meadow Pipits with c20 Skylarks, c100 Fieldfares, c60 Chaffinches, 15 Goldfinches, c800 Woodpigeons, and a pair of Red-Legged Partridges. Forest of Dean    Two Dippers and six Hawfinches at Parkend. A Crossbill, two Lesser Redpolls, a Bullfinch, a Raven, a Mistle Thrush and a perched Goshawk from New Fancy View. (Roy Kinchin/Dave Stone/Kenny Hills).

Huntley    Four Red Kites drifted slowly S over Huntley at 1:30pm today. (Martin Drew).

Berkeley shore     At high tide three Turnstones, 24 Dunlins, 14 Redshanks, two Curlews, 15 Wigeon (6f, 9m), 26 Mallards (14f, 12m) , eight Shelducks, a Raven, six Rock Pipits and 12 Meadow Pipits. (Thomas Weston).

Cirencester    40+ Bramblings in two separate flocks in Oakley Wood this afternoon at cSO973029. Also in the area two Ravens and two Marsh Tits. (Jon Mercer).
