Quedgeley    30+ WAXWINGS noisily heading NE over the house at 11:40am today. (Steve Pullen).

Sharpness     Two BLACK REDSTARTS, the adult male and a female/immature at the dock near the entrance to the lightboat at Dock Road this morning. (Fred & Heather Hobson/Tim McGrath).

Saul Warth     At high tide two Grey Herons, a Great White Egret, 14 Shelducks, 27 Curlews, 20 Lapwings, six Oystercatchers, a Common Sandpiper, a Rock Pipit, 20 Meadow Pipits, 15 Goldfinches, four Chiffchaffs, two singing, two Goldcrests, a Reed Bunting, three Skylarks and 11 Magpies. (MK).

WWT Slimbridge     A WHOOPER SWAN, a Bar-tailed Godwit, a Spotted Redshank and the Grey Plover on the Tack Piece. Another WHOOPER SWAN on the Rushy. (Slimbridge Sightings/Neil Smart). The Kingfisher pair showed well from Kingfisher hide. (Heather England).

Frampton     From the canal towpath two Great White Egrets, two Little Egrets, a juvenile Cormorant ate an eel, three Common Cranes, 100+ Curlews in a field by Splatt Bridge, a Marsh Harrier over and a Grey Wagtail. A Great Crested Grebe on the canal. (Tim Thompson/Steve Pullen).

Berkeley shore     WeBS count today included 102 Mallards, 31 Shelducks, 51 Wigeon, a Pintail, 11 Teal, a Tufted Duck, five Redshanks, four Oystercatchers, a Curlew, 236 Common Gull, 68 Black-tailed Godwits, three Great Black-backed Gulls, four Lesser Black-backed Gulls, c50 Meadow Pipits and two Rock Pipits. Winson     16 Teal on Coln flood meadow S of Winson village. (Harvey Sherwood).

Cheltenham    This morning at 10am a Peregrine feeding on top of one of the spires at Christ Church. Still there at midday perched halfway up the spire. (David Norman).
