Berkeley shore WeBS count today included 102 Mallards, 31 Shelducks, 51 Wigeon, a Pintail, 11 Teal, a Tufted Duck, five Redshanks, four Oystercatchers, a Curlew, 236 Common Gull, 68 Black-tailed Godwits, three Great Black-backed Gulls, four Lesser Black-backed Gulls, c50 Meadow Pipits and two Rock Pipits. Cheltenham This morning at 10am a Peregrine feeding on top of one of the spires at Christ Church. Still there at midday perched halfway up the spire. (David Norman).
