On the Dumbles the juvenile DARK-BELLIED BRENT GOOSE, the Ross’s Goose and three Ringed Plovers. 93 Avocets and a pair of Goldeneyes on South Lake. 15 Cattle Egret early morning on the Long Ground pool. Minsterworth Ham     Minimum counts of 30 Shelducks, 24 Shovelers, 40 Gadwalls, 120 Wigeon, 16 Mallards, 120 Pintails, 100 Teal, 11 Tufted Ducks and ten Coots. Also 12 Lapwings, three Green Sandpipers, a Sparrowhawk, a Raven and a singing Chiffchaff. (Andy Jayne).

Forest of Dean     A Hawfinch on Popes Hill bird table at midday along with several Siskins. (Harvey Sherwood). A Red Kite circling SW over Forge Hill, Lydbrook for the third morning running, at 9am. Saul Warth      This afternoon 93+ Curlews, two Shelducks, three Grey Herons, a Kestrel, 20 Meadow Pipits, two Skylarks, 12 Goldfinches and seven Magpies. (MK).
