WWT Slimbridge     From Estuary Tower this morning a PALE-BELLIED BRENT GOOSE and the juvenile DARK-BELLIED BRENT GOOSE. A Peregrine sat on the NW side of the Sloane Tower at 9:15am until 2:50pm at least. From Zeiss hide the Lesser White-fronted Goose with Canada Geese. On South Lake 60 Avocets and three Cattle Egrets. (Tim Jukes/Ian Hull/Dot Jones). A WHOOPER SWAN on the Rushy at 11:10am then flew off. (Phil Pope). The SPOONBILL reappeared this afternoon and settled on South Lake best viewed from  Hogarth hide. (Jonathan Bull). A Kingfisher from the Van de Bovenkamp hide this afternoon. (Martin Price).

Thrupp    Six Mandarins today near Griffon Mill lock at midday. Two flew off E and left three males fighting over a female. (Paul Sutton).

Kingswood    12 Siskins in the alder in the garden today. They flew in from the Nind direction following the Little Avon. Also a Dipper and two Grey Wagtails. (Tom McCarthy).
