Stroud     15-20 WAXWINGS in in the car park of Stroud Leisure Centre briefly today, then flew off. (Joanna Harrison). Seven Mandarins (6m, 1f) still at Lodgemore Mill at lunchtime. (Richard Williams).

WWT Slimbridge     A SIBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF along South Finger this morning. Also two WHOOPER SWANS on the Rushy. (Slimbridge Sightings).

Thrupp     Along the canal between Thrupp and Arundel Aqueduct 13 Mandarins (10m, 3f), 25+ Siskins, two Grey Wagtails, seven Redwings, a singing male Blackcap, two singing Stock Doves and a pair of Ravens. (MK).

Longford     An adult MEDITERRANEAN GULL in almost full summer plumage on floodwater just N of Longford SO8321 late morning. (Andy Jayne).

Cotswold Water Park West     At Shorncote Reedbeds this morning eight Reed Buntings, 6+ Water Rails, c10 Cetti’s Warblers, a Great White Egret, a pair of Bullfinches and six Chiffchaffs. (Chris Snook).

Stonehouse    In fields below Bonds Mill, birds included seven Grey Herons, four Little Egrets, six Cormorants, two Green Sandpipers and c50 Redwings. A male Kingfisher at the Ocean and 150+ Siskins again in the Alders below St Cyr’s Church. (Paul Sutton).

Leigh Meadows     This morning 25 Little Egrets feeding on the edges. (Mike Smart).
