WWT Slimbridge     The drake GREEN-WINGED TEAL on the Tack Piece for much of the day, best viewed from Estuary Tower. Also a Knot amongst 400+ Black-tailed Godwits, including a colour ringed bird, two Avocets, a Bewick’s Swan and the Ross’s Goose. A passage of 38+ Sand Martins through this morning and a Wheatear reported on the Dumbles. Two WHOOPER SWANS on the Rushy. At least two adult Mediterranean Gulls on South Lake. (Martin McGill et al). Also a Cattle Egret in the rushes. (Richard & Becky Lansdown).

Forest of Dean     A singing Firecrest along the family cycle trail near Mallards Pike. (Geoff Fawcett).

Sharpness Docks     A Peregrine sitting on top of the concrete building and a Curlew, two Oystercatchers and four Wigeon along the Severn. (Jacob Jenkins).
