WWT Slimbridge     The drake GREEN-WINGED TEAL located again today on the Bottom New Piece from Zeiss hide. Also a SPOONBILL on the Tack Piece. (Gordon Youdale/Ian Hull). Six Cattle Egrets on South Lake this morning, but departed to the roadside fields shortly afterwards. (Martin Price). Also around the grounds today four Bewick’s Swans, 120+ White-fronted Geese, a Spotted Redshank, 50 Avocets, 250 Black-tailed Godwits, four Snipe, six Lapwings, 25 Redshanks, a Dunlin, a Great White Egret, five Little Egrets, a second-summer Mediterranean Gull, several Chiffchaffs singing and a Peregrine. Charlton Kings    A WAXWING again at the junction of Bradley Road and Cirencester Road all day. (Lucy Martin).

Hazleton     On the approach to Hazleton from the Salperton direction still many Bramblings, Chaffinches, Goldfinches, Yellowhammers and a Corn Bunting. Also a Sparrowhawk spooked the flock, a Red Kite, a Buzzard, a Red-legged Partridge and Pheasants. (Alan McIlquham).

Saul Warth     A Marsh Harrier on the hunt this afternoon at 3pm then it disappeared over Hock Cliff. A few more Chiffchaffs around and a pair of Oystercatchers and 65 Curlews on the river. (MK).

Frampton     On the flashes from the towpath N of Splatt Bridge a Great White Egret, four Little Egrets, nine Gadwalls, two Barnacle Geese, seven Curlews and a Cetti’s Warbler this afternoon. (MK).

Cheltenham     This morning a Chiffchaff and a male Blackcap in the garden in Eldorado Road. (Keith White). A Peregrine over Pittville Gates this afternoon and circling over Pittville Lawn later. (Howard Taylor).

Stinchcombe Hill     A male Wheatear this morning. (James Robinson).

Forest of Dean    At least 1 and probably 2 Wheatears on Crabtree Hill this morning. (Frank Williams).

Tewkesbury     At Mythe Hook four Mute Swans, 32 Canada Geese, an Egyptian Goose, five Shelducks, 152 Wigeon, two Teal, ten Mallards, ten Shovelers, two Oystercatchers, a Lapwing, a Curlew, two Chiffchaffs singing and a Reed Bunting singing. (Mike Smart).

Twyning     At Upham Meadow seven Greylags, 20 Canada Geese, two Shelducks, five Mallards, ten Shovelers, a Little Egret, ten Curlews, 50 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, 50 Herring Gulls and 20 Black-headed Gulls. (Mike Smart).

Hartpury     A male Peregrine, 11+ Mistle Thrushes, 10+ Greenfinches, 2+ Song Thrushes, two Great Spotted Woodpeckers drumming, two Stock Doves, a Collared Dove, 5+ Buzzards, 50+ Woodpigeons, two Mallards and 3+ Blackbirds (one nesting). (Oliver Paisey).

Elmore Court     In the rewilding area today, three pairs of Gadwalls, seven Lapwings, two Moorhens, 15+ Mallards, seven Shelducks, eight Canada Geese, two Mute Swans, a Snipe, a Sparrowhawk, a Cetti’s Warble, a Red Kite heard and 15+ Chiffchaffs. (Steve Pullen).

Nailsworth     The male and female Brambling on bird feeders again today, also 40+ Siskins. (Terry Grant).

Halmore     Garden birds today included three Greenfinches, three Siskins, a Coal Tit and an unsuccessful hunting Sparrowhawk. (Chris Newton).
