Saul Warth At high tide this morning in very rough conditions, two Black Swans, eight Shelducks, a pair of Gadwalls, 60+ Curlews, two pairs of Oystercatchers, a Buzzard, a male Marsh Harrier, all five common gull species, four Skylarks, two Meadow Pipits, a female Reed Bunting and a Chiffchaff heard. Five Common Cranes flew from Awre to Frampton. (MK).

Frampton From Splatt Bridge early morning, two Great White Egrets flew towards Slimbridge, eight Little Egrets, seven Common Cranes, seven Mute Swans, ten Canada Geese, four Greylags, a Grey Heron, 20+ Curlews, two Skylarks, six Sand Martins and two Jays. Around the pools a House Martin, three Swallows, 50+ Sand Martins, five Shelducks, two Siskins, a Willow Warbler, 39 Chiffchaffs, 13 Blackcaps, six Cetti’s Warblers and 60 Tufted Ducks. Horsley At Downend this morning an immature Peregrine on a fresh kill, then flew E with the remains when spooked by Carrion Crow. (David Bullock).
