WWT Slimbridge    The WHITE-SPOTTED BLUETHROAT showed again this morning at Middle Point. From Estuary Tower seven DARK-BELLIED BRENT GEESE on the foreshore. (Martin McGill/Julian Thomas). A SHORT-EARED OWL N of the Shepherd’s Hut today. (Geoff Moyser/Warren Gill). Also a GRASSHOPPER WARBLER reeling at Middle Point. (Dot Jones). Also a distant SHORT-EARED OWL at Middle Point, seven DARK-BELLIED BRENT GEESE and a Greenshank on the Dumbles. (Steve Pullen).

Frampton pools      An OSPREY over, six Hobbies, ten Common Terns, an ARCTIC TERN, a male Gadwall, a male Mandarin, a Garden Warbler, two Reed Warblers and six Swallows today. (Nick Goatman). Also today three pairs of Greylags with goslings, two Oystercatchers, four Great Crested Grebes, the Ross’s Goose, two Sedge Warblers and four Pied Wagtails. From Splatt Bridge a Great White Egret, two Little Egrets and four Shelducks. (John Fletcher).
