Forest of Dean     At Nagshead a Pied Flycatcher, a male Redstart, a Hawfinch, a pair of Bullfinches and a female Great Spotted Woodpecker feeding young. (MK).

Halmore     In the fields this evening two Whitethroats, a Spotted Flycatcher, two Blackcaps, a Green Woodpecker, four Swallows and a Hobby harassing a soaring Buzzard. (Chris Newton).

Frampton     At Court Lake, near the Perryway two Spotted Flycatchers still at 7:30am. (Steve Brown/Ken Hurcombe). Also today 100+ Swifts, 20+ House Martins, 20+ Sand Martins, 10+ Swallows, two Cuckoos, two Garden Warblers, ten Whitethroats, six Common Terns, five Cetti’s Warblers, two Yellowhammers, Tawny Owl chicks calling and the Oystercatcher pair with a chick. WWT Slimbridge     Two Cuckoos today, one showing from the Kingfisher hide. Also there a Kingfisher for c30 mins and a female Kestrel. (Steve Brown). From Knott hide a Spotted Flycatcher, a Cuckoo calling, two Cetti’s Warblers, a Little Egret, two Reed Buntings and three Reed Warblers. (Oliver Paisey).

Nailsworth     A Hobby and c30 Swifts today. (Terry Grant).
