Sherborne     An OSPREY roosting above the boathouse on Sherborne Broadwater at SP1742114853 at 9:05pm. (Keith Jennings). First seen early morning by Luke Hunter.

WWT Slimbridge     From Martin Smith hide at 9:30am a BITTERN flew into the left-hand reedbed and then flew out 1-2 minutes later into the reedbed viewed from the Knott hide. Also a Kingfisher and a Little Egret at Martin Smith hide. The WHITE-SPOTTED BLUETHROAT showed briefly at Middle Point early on. (Mike Davis).

Frampton     A Spotted Flycatcher high in the trees but elusive between Court Lake and The Perryway at SO7584907434 at 8:15am. From Splatt Bridge early morning two Great White Egrets, a Little Egret, 6+ Redshanks, a pair of Oystercatchers, a male Cuckoo, and a female heard bubbling, 12 Long-tailed Tits and two Swifts. (MK).

Halmore     Around the woods today a Goshawk, a Red Kite, three Buzzards, a Sparrowhawk, several Swifts and Swallows, a Greenfinch, many Blackcaps, two Song Thrushes and two Goldcrests. (Chris Newton).

Dursley     This morning two adults and at least one young Dipper on the River Cam just off Lister Road. (Mark Coller).

Withington     A few Yellowhammers, a Tree Pipit displaying, several Linnets, a Red Kite and four Mistle Thrushes. (Greg Anderson).

Maisemore     This afternoon a Cuckoo calling along the Severn towards Persh Farm. (Mark Hobson).
