WWT Slimbridge    A Green Sandpiper this morning on the Tack Piece. Three Avocet chicks on the Rushy, on the river 20 Sanderlings, a Cuckoo in the Decoy wood and two Little Grebes on the Decoy pond. Saul Warth     At high tide this morning a Marsh Harrier on the Warth hunting, flushing ducks, then resting. Just nine Curlews, nine Oystercatchers, a Dunlin, 30+ Shelducks and a pair with 17 ducklings, 25+ Mallards, a pair of Gadwalls, two Little Egrets, a Lesser Whitethroat, two Whitethroats, 50+ Swifts apparently still arriving and a male Reed Bunting. Hartpury     Birds today included a Little Egret, a pair of Ravens, three Buzzards, four Greenfinches, ten Goldfinches and two Stock Doves. (Oliver Paisey).

Slad Valley     Birds included a Chiffchaff, a Goldcrest, Buzzards, a Red Kite, a Lesser Spotted Woodpecker and a Tree Pipit at Swifts Hill. (Paul Sutton).

Ashleworth Ham     This evening birds included a Spotted Flycatcher, a Redstart, four Yellow Wagtails, Whitethroats, Sedge Warblers, Chiffchaffs, Willow Warblers, Reed Buntings, a Red Kite, Skylarks and Song Thrushes. (Richard Humphrey/Go Wild In Ashleworth Group).
