WWT Slimbridge     The male WHITE-SPOTTED BLUETHROAT singing at Middle Point again today and showing well. An Egyptian Goose, two Great White Egrets and a Little Egret on the Tack Piece. (MK).

Coombe Hill Meadows     A QUAIL calling at 9:52pm and a second bird heard at 10:15pm. (Paul Rich).

Forest of Dean     At Nagshead today a juvenile Hawfinch, a Spotted Flycatcher, a Siskin, a Nuthatch, a Coal Tit and a Garden Warbler. (Dave Stone).

Guscar Rocks/Aylburton Warth      Birds today included 20 Canada Geese, 18 Shelducks (also two creches of 20 nearly full grown and 15 smallish ducklings, and a recently hatched family of six), a Mallard, two Cormorants, two Grey Herons, five Oystercatchers, 78 Curlews, two Redshanks and song from Skylark, Meadow Pipit, Reed Warbler, Whitethroat, Lesser Whitethroat, Chiffchaff and Reed Bunting.
